BRIMAR 12AU7 ECC82 MATCHED PAIR

On offer we have a beautiful matched pair of white print Brimar 12AU7/ ECC82. These devices present with superb matching both within the envelope and inter device. These devices have tested on our AVO VCM163 valve tester as having 100% emission with very close matching for each triode section within the envelope. V3: Section 1: Ia = 10.0 mA; gm = 2.2 mA/V V3: Section 2: Ia = 10.0 mA; gm = 2.2 mA/V V4: Section 1: Ia =10.0 mA; gm = 2.0 mA/V V4: Section 2: Ia = 9.5 mA; gm = 1.9 mA/V The specification for a new/100% emission valve is: Ia = 10 mA; gm = 2.2 mA/V As you can see, this result show a really strong matched pair of valves with good matching of each triode section within each envelope.

BRIMAR 5Z3 BROWN BASE MANUFACTURED BY OSRAM JAN 1956

Well, what a special device, essentially a U52 mounted on a UX4 base, this is a superb valve indeed. Badged in black base print as a Brimar but from construction and faint cartouche is an Osram manufactured device this is scarce and desirable too. Showing perfect emission on test, will you give it a home?

BRIMAR CV4003 MILITARY 12AU7 ECC82 MATCHED PAIR FROM 1974

On offer we have a beautiful matched pair of white print Brimar CV4003, these are military specification 12AU7/ ECC82. Both devices carry a military cartouche that indicate a 1974 manufacture date. Both devices present with superb matching both within the envelope and inter device. These devices have tested on our AVO VCM163 valve tester as having nominal specification emission with very close matching for each triode section within the envelope.

BRIMAR FOOTSCRAY TALL BOY BLACK GLASS BLACK BASE SILVER PRINT 6SN7GT 1950S MANUFACTURE NOS BULK PACKED

We have on offer today, one of these sonically lush high performance triodes. The device carries markings in silver ink on the fat black micanol base, the envelope is carbonised black glass 2 inch high. This device was produced at the Brimar - STC Footscray works. This device shows good emission and close matching for each triode section within each envelope - a hallmark of a good valve.

BRIMAR RED PRINT 12AT7 MATCHED PAIR OF HIGH GRADE ECC81

On offer today is a pair of Brimar Red print 12AT7 twin triodes. Carrying good red print, these test as excellentusing my AVO Valve Characteristic Meter VCM163 with the following results: At Va = 250V Vg = -2.0V U15: Section 1: Ia = 9.5 mA; gm = 5.1 mA/V U15: Section 2: Ia = 10 mA; gm = 5.1 mA/V U16: Section 1: Ia = 9.0 mA; gm = 5.1 mA/V U16: Section 2: Ia = 9.2 mA; gm = 5.2 mA/V The specification for a new/100% emission valve is: Ia = 10mA; gm = 5.5mA/V As you can see, this result show a really strong matched pair of valves with good matching of each triode section within each envelope.

OSRAM 10E/373 RAF AIR MINISTRY U52 BLACK BASE WARTIME PRODUCTION

Here we have a single 10E/373 an Air Ministry military specification U52 DIRECTLY HEATED TAPE FILAMENT rectifier manufactured by Osram at their Hammersmith Brook Green factory sometime during the war years. This valve shows excellent bright getter and has the inverted getter pan situated down by the glass pinch, however, more importantly it tests as EXCELLENT using my Avo VCM163 valve tester. The valve is fitted with the Air Ministry trademark shrink ccollar encircling the envelope and base which was a palliative measure to prevent separation in hiogh altitude applications. This exquisite device carries good white print, the classic U52 envelope shape and the trademark rounded black low loss micanol base - simply super. Device test data: Ia = 120.0mA for both diode sections. Device specification 120mA delivery for both diode sections. So you can see we have 100% emission from this venerable beauty.
